Backseat Wally^® is the flagship product of Wallyhoo, Inc., a product development company conceived by partners Scott Cahall and Bob Kiesow. 

Our Story

We’ve all been there: driving our children to school, play dates, the grocery store, and even vacation destinations. There’s just something about kids being buckled in the back seat of a car that brings out the tension between them – the poking, the teasing, the looks. And when it heats up, it can be a serious distraction for parents behind the wheel.  While sharing similar experiences and observations within our own families, the solution became clear: give each child their own space. Create something that’s a barrier between the kids, but doesn’t block the driver’s view out the back window. Something simple for the parents. Something soft for the kids. With a bit of engineering, a bit of creativity, and a healthy dose of trial and error, our solution became Backseat Wally^®.

Our Founders

Wallyhoo was founded by designers Scott Cahall and Bob Kiesow. Scott is an engineer and serial entrepreneur, while Bob is a designer and brand expert. Together, they combine their diverse skills and parenting experiences to do what they enjoy – create great products that solve real problems faced by families on-the-go. Our flagship product is Backseat Wally, a first-of-its-kind solution for the growing epidemic of distracted driving.
